Jody's Garden Bakery Guarantee,
Replacement and Return Policies
for our online bakery.

All of our bakery items are made fresh to order, never frozen and packaged
with the utmost care. Your order will be lovingly baked, carefully packaged and
shipped on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of the week, following  
placement of your special order. Each package will be shipped by USPS
Priority Mail ( 2 to 3 day service) to the address specified during your
secure checkout with Pay Pal. We are not able to make arrangements for
overnight or express mail.  Sorry!
Cakes are made fresh to order, and baking takes time.

We do not accept online orders for wedding cakes, parties or specialty cakes.
Customers desiring the above, must make an appointment for a consultation.
Wedding cakes and parties must be paid in full by personal check, or cash only.
All credit card purchases must be accompanied by the card holder being
present, with the card. The card holder must have proper Identification, such as
a valid picture ID.  Please book your wedding cake with plenty of advance
notice. Rush orders will be subject to a rush fee of 30%.
We reserve the right to photograph any of our baked goods and
the right to use them on our website or other advertising.
The contents of this website belongs exclusively to "Jody's Garden Bakery".

Cake of the month subscriptions will be shipped out once each month,
before the last day of the month. Due to the unique nature of our
business, shipping dates for subscriptions may vary by
3 to 5 business days. On the rare occasion that a significant
delay might occur, we will let you know by e-mail when to
expect the arrival of your cake.
Your complete satisfaction is our goal, so please contact us by e-mail or
leave a message to let us know if an item does not meet your expectations.
If you are requesting a refund, please fill out the customer
care form provided with the package. Send your item in it's
original packaging along with your request for replacement of
the item. Refunds and replacements can only be issued when an
item has been sent back to us with an appropriate explanation
and 90% of the product. We are happy to do the right and fair thing
for our valued customers. We will be glad to make a replacement
of your item, or give a refund on a returned item.
We can not refund or replace an item that is due to taste preferences.
Example: ( I would like to replace the  Lemon cake I ordered,
because I would have liked the Blueberry Lemon better.)
We cannot refund or replace an item that has been willfully
damaged or mostly eaten.

The purchaser assumes all responsibilities for ensuring that
the item ordered is the correct size for the event. Please feel free to
e-mail us with questions regarding any questions about serving sizes.
Sizes  and weights are available on the website and no refunds or
replacements will be given for disputes over size, weight or value.
Jody's Garden Bakery will not be responsible for any
damages or non- delivery of items if the recipient is not there
to receive an item. We will not be responsible for incorrect information
given to us when the order is placed.

For special occasions,  such as birthdays,  anniversaries, etc.  We
will ship your package  to arrive as close to the date of
your request as possible. We cannot guarantee an exact arrival date.
Once your package leaves our bakery and is accepted by the
carrier,
Jody's Garden Bakery will not be liable for damages
caused by carrier delays or malfunctions, weather delays
or similar situations that are beyond our control.

Delays are
extremely rare. We will let you know immediately if
a delay becomes necessary. We will be happy to make a fair
adjustment for any delays . ( Delays might occur for the
following reasons: illness, power outages, equipment failure,
or  family emergency)

If you receive an item and it
does not meet your expectations please contact us by e-mail,
within three days of your delivery. Let us know what we can
do to improve your our business and service .
We want your experience with us to be the best!  

Products for fund raising are also guaranteed, we stand behind each and
every item sold. Any items that do not meet your expectations and are
returned to us within 5 days of delivery will be replaced at no charge.
We want to make your fund raising event a success in every way!

In House Policy
Our Mission and Promise
We promise to provide fresh and delicious baked goods, carefully and lovingly
prepared! We will cheerfully refund your money if you are not satisfied for any
reason. We will not remake orders. Please call within 24 hours of pickup. We
require that your return 90% of any uneaten product, in the original container,
in good condition within 48 hours of purchase along with your receipt.
Refunds will not be issued without a proper return of product.
(It is therefore not possible to eat your cake and get your money back!)
We always welcome your comments. Custom orders, (Wedding Cakes)
( Birthday Cakes) etc.  Must be paid for in advance. Any cancelled orders
will be charged a 25% cancellation fee. Orders can be rescheduled once
within 10 business days at no extra charge. Notice of cancellation or
rescheduling must be given within 10 business days of the delivery date.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone that we might find impossible
to please, or to anyone that is offensive, unappreciative or obnoxious.
We further reserve the right to make changes or amendments to these
policies at anytime.
